What is Certified High Performance Coaching?

Unlike peak performance, which focuses intense training and preparation to achieve a short term goal (as in the case of elite athletes or scholastic endeavors) Certified High Performance Coaching prepares you to succeed beyond standard norms consistently over the long-term. It is the result of heightened and sustained levels of clarity, energy, necessity, productivity, influence and courage referred to as the Pillars of High Performance. They are achieved by learning how to master your psychology, physiology, productivity, persuasiveness with people, presence and purpose.

The CHPC coaching model focuses on one outcome --high performance in each of the 6 pillars.  This approach is designed to guide the participant, providing built-in value through directed questions and education, not spontaneity. During each session the coach is prepared to add value and impactful transition. 

As your CHPC coach, I will give you tools, curriculum, insights and guidance that can help you:  

  • not feel like you have to sacrifice peace of mind and healthy relationships for your career or business

  • combat confusion, exhaustion, feelings of powerlessness and burnout

  • renew your vitality, vision, motivation and necessity

  • adapt habits designed to push past self-doubt, fear and limited thinking

  • implement practices to manage your life with less distractions and more congruence with who you really are

  • increase your influence so you can lead and serve at higher levels,

  • and much more…

These are the CHPC session levels I can coach you in:

Core - You’ll get an introduction to the high performance habits (seek clarity, generate energy, raise necessity, increase productivity, develop influence, demonstrate courage, ) and how to practice them consistently. In addition, you’ll be introduced to the areas you must master in order to develop and integrate those habits fully (physiology, psychology, productivity, (persuasiveness with) people, purpose, presence). Based on Brendon Burchard's book, "High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way".

Charge - Here you’ll dive deeper as you explore the 10 human drives (competence, congruence, caring, connection, change, challenge, creative expression, contribution, consciousness). They help you know what truly drives you; what brings you alive. These sessions have more assessments and garner more emotional reactions. They are designed to give direction if you feel lost and connection if you feel lonely. Based on Brendon Burchard's book "The Charge".

Declaration -- These sessions are more philosophical, identity-based conversations and explore what gives you personal freedom. The two freedoms you can experience are freedom from social and self oppression and freedom to do what is meaningful to you. These sessions are more ambitious and decisive. If you lack self esteem, these sessions bring you alive! Based on Brendon Burchard's book "The Motivation Manifesto".

Leadership-- These sessions are about legacy and assertiveness. They are based on Brendon Burchard's E6 framework of leadership: envision, enlist, embody, empower, evaluate, encourage. They are designed to help anyone from housewives to CEO's step into their leadership roles confidently and consistently.

The four levels of Certified High Performance Coaching sessions are designed to be delivered in order--Core, Charge, Declaration, Leadership. They are less effective if taken out of order, as progress is often built on breakthroughs from prior sessions. Please trust the process and take them sequentially. You’ll experience considerable personal growth and positive development when you commit to moving through each over the course of four 12-week sessions.

THE VALUES THAT DEFINE MY COACHING RIGHT NOW…

A lot has changed in the last few years and many people have lost their vision and motivation. It is within this “playground” of chaos and uncertainty that I enthusiastically serve my clients as a Certified High Performance Coach. The values that most define my coaching at this moment are:

  • VISION.  I have my clients speak of, tap into it and work towards manifesting it.  I ask them to imagine a better way of life.  Through the coaching process I return to what they told me as a way to continually sell them the vision they described.

  • NECESSITY. I challenge them to make it necessary to achieve their goals, their vision; to move towards it.  They’ve got to be hungry to show up and do the work. Consistency is driven by necessity. I tell them that it’s time to get back into the game. It’s necessary to take back control and we have to work together to achieve it.

  • RHYTHM. I help my clients reestablish a rhythm of consistency in this new normal. We don’t often have enough consistency and structure in our lives.  We have to consciously structure time to build that rhythm because with it comes momentum and once that gets going, confidence follows.

  • TENACITY. I push my clients to keep going, to push through when they don’t understand something or feel they don’t understand anything at all; when the deck is stacked against them.  My goal is that they must see themselves being more working with me, that we’re going to get the job done together.

Curriculum

Your Certified High Performance Coaching sessions follow a proven format of 12 weekly, one-hour conversations that include a session topic overview, a discussion of that session's high performance topic and how it impacts your life, sharing of skill-building strategies, session recap and assignment of homework (yes, there's homework) to reinforce transformational practices and habits, and a preview and scheduling of the next session.

Clear, challenge-based outcomes

Unique to the Certified High Performance Coaching framework is the approach coaches use to unveil your particular challenges to discovery and transformation. You'll be asked tough questions to work toward revealing your own truths and achieve breakthroughs through identifying your "why". We all need a cheerleader, and while these are not therapy sessions, taking responsibility for your progress through full participation and trusting the process can lead to transcendental outcomes in all areas of your life.
